Bridal Show Booth Design

Twice a year, I've had the honor of being asked to design the Phoenix Bride & Groom Magazine booth at the Bridal Fashion Debut Show. You can see past designs here and here, and every time I base the concept on the latest magazine cover, which is always fun. There are thousands of vendors with booths at this show, and probably almost 5,000 people attending, so I always try to make the booth stick out and capture everyone's attention.

Here's the latest magazine cover, from which I drew the concept for this year's booth:

Beautiful, simple, clean, elegant, couture! I immediately gravitated to the green bear grass, pearls and white orchids Brady's Floral designed in this stunning headpiece. So, here's what we came up with for the booth, with the help of Brady's again, who made my floral dreams come to life, and KOOL Party Rentals and Classic Party Rentals who furnished the booth, and BBJ Linens who provided the gorgeous Grass Twist linens.

Tres Fabulous Booth Design

I'm so proud of this booth I designed for uber chic Phoenix Bride & Groom Magazine! They have had a booth at the Phoenix Bridal Fair for 17 years now and this is the first time they've had it professionally designed, so I am very honored to have been asked to do it.

The concept came from their latest magazine cover here:

This bride is on a pedi-cab bicycle and as you can see, the shot is whimsical and brightly colored, so I took that look and reconcepted it to be richer in color, and even more whimsical and bold so that these thousands of brides wouldn't have a chance in passing this booth up.

The design elements I used for the booth are over-the-top fun in the gorgeous colors of Eggplant, Sapphire, and Peridot. We added feathers, crystals, lollipops, zebra stripes and the main attraction - a beautiful Eggplant-colored beach cruiser bicycle on top of a table!

Thanks goes out to the talented floral designers at Your Event Florist for the fantastic flowers and the incredible linens from Wildflower Linen and BBJ Linen. Event rentals were provided by Classic Party Rentals. Cute beach cruiser, affectionately named "Junie B" provided by my mom. ;)

Well, what do you think? If you're a bride, get yourself downtown to the Phoenix Convention Center this weekend and be sure to stop by the Phoenix Bride & Groom booth and say hello to the lovely ladies there!
